Looking Forward and Back

[Sol.jpg]

A friend of mine once told me, “The things we look forward to most in life are somewhere in our past.” I’ve never been able to figure out what that means.

[Buck.jpg]

It means you have nothing to look forward to in life.

[Chick.jpg]

It means throughout our lives we try to re-establish the security and comfort we enjoyed as children.

What if childhood wasn’t secure or comfortable?

[Chick.jpg]

Then maybe that saying doesn’t apply to you.
